Does anyone know of any life insurance policies, either death or critical illness payouts where the monthly premium doesnt increase? With Barclays at the mo, but it looks like it will be going up every policy review because of credit crunch crap going on now. Can anyone recommened any good companies, they have been with?Thanks

Yes, that is a whole life insurance policy. There is no premium increases, because it is extremely expensive, up front.

If u want the low price going in, term is cheapest, but the premium WILL go up every renewal. Universal is more expensive than term, less expensive than whole, because the money earns a variable interest - it goes up when the earnings dip. But whole life, the premium is the same for ur WHOLE LIFE.

So for $100,000 of coverage, the term policy would cost u maybe $15 a month for ten years, the universal life maybe $45 a month, until it costs more, & the whole life $100 a month forever.

l am not that familiar with Critical Illness policies, but l will speak to the life insurance. There r many companies that sell level premium term life insurance products that have level premiums for up to 30 years.

If u want an idea of what they cost go to insure.com or zanderins.com & run a quote on the various term lengths.

As far as choosing a company just look at their AM Best ratings & try to pick a company with an ''A'' - Excellent rating or better.
