l got into an accident a little while back and was unable to pay the guy 500 something dollars at the time. l also did not want him to deal with my insurance, although l gave it to him to be integral. Then he did not call me back for two weeks after the incident, and when l called him l had the money, but then had to spend it because l could not have it sitting there when l can take care of priority stuff. So he did not respond, l got pist, he kept harassing me, then when l can finally afford to do what l said l would, l called him to explain. He denied ever neglecting to talk to me, said that he called me many times which is not true. Then he did take it to the insurance but since l spoke to him l said if it was worth it to go through all that paperwork or even court and they have to pay court fees, lawyer fees, everything. but l can end their problem now and they can drop the claim right? if not what can l do?

if he already filed the claim with your insurance company, there is nothing that you can do. He is the only person who can contact is adjuster and notify them that he wants to settle the claim with no payout. Thats when theyll close the claim.
