l went to Mercy Urgent Care because l heard it is far less expensive than the ER. l went for shortness of breath, they did an X-ray (front and side view), blood work to check my blood count, and an EKG. l do not have health insurance. l would not of gone if l was not having trouble breathing for 6 days. l was diagnosed with pneumonia. So l had to go.

Does anyone know approximately how much all that is going to cost me?

A lot. Apply for some assistance if you can not handle the bill or agree to make payments. Next time try a local free clinic.

Too much. It varys with the hospital and l do not know Mercy is costs specifically. Do you qualify for MediCal or MediCare? It wo not help you now if you do and do not have it already but it would be a good thing if something happens in the future. When you get the bill, call the hospital to see if you can negotiate of if someone can assist you.
