The link you posted is no good.

But, if you know you already need medical care, you wo not find insurance to help you if you do not already have a policy. This is called a pre-existing condition and is excluded from coverage on most policies.

No, an insurance company does not want to pay for your MR l any more than you want to pay for your MRI.

Insurance is for UNEXPECTED illness or injury. You can not buy it after you need it.

It all depends on ur insurance policy. Most likely it will be covered under preventive care or labs/tests. You might have to meet a deductible before ur insurance will pay, or u might not have a deductible but a limit for the year. Pre-existing clauses only pertain to having a lapse in coverage & being in the middle of treatment, so u do not have to worry about that. You need to contact ur insurance company for benefit information or check ur explanation of benefits.
