l believe if you're on workman is comp. it is because you cannot work. Therefore, if you were to get a job, you would prove that you can work and lose your comp money. However, you can still work for people if it is a private transaction. (AKA being payed ''under the table'')

Yes, if you are on light duty, you insurance carrier may stop paying you if you do not make an effort to find work or work a light duty job that is offered to you. Just because you have a work comp claim, does not mean you get to stay at home and get paid. Most comp claims are called medical only and pay the medical bills and nothing is paid for missed work because there is no missed work.
