Hello l signed up with them in june 2008. and my support officer is claire henderson with yourmailmate.com she told me that l should get work in two weeks and that l was the 3rd one on the list to get work. has anyone gotten any work yet?

l have doubts about this job. but if on August 4th l realize
it is a scam l will let u know via Email. l requested to
be paid after each shift (which is the next day) if l don't
get any pay in my Paypal Account around August 5th or
6th, l will let u know this is a Scam. Claire seem
honest but l will see on August 4 - 6, if they r legit

If something does not feel right then it is probably a scam,I've never heard of them.Have you tried looking them up on Google?

Look, in my opinion this is a waiting game, where l really hope we ( people who signed up ) win. So far l havent found anyone who already started to work with yourmailmate, l just found people who singned up. Claire is also my support officer. Lets wait until the first week of august , it is when l think things will be resolved.

l also told her l read all the people complaining on internet? She told me to be patient.

A quick Google search shows that an awful lot of people seem to be 3rd in line on 'Claire Hendersons' work list.

Below is a post from a fraud forum, which unfortunately does have the ring of truth about it (link to original attached). You may wish to look at this site yourselves. l hope this guy is wrong & that u get the work u r after, but personally l have my doubts.

Back to me...

Ref the above, one of our IT guys at work told me once that our London office gets around 600 spam emails a day per employee, that is a total of about 750,000 a day. Not one reaches my (or anyone else l know) desk, never has.. the spam filter does the job just fine.

Using mailmate at their advertised price of 10p per mail, that would cost 75,000 pounds a day!! Just on spam email. that is not including the legit ones.

No way would we EVER employ someone to go through that lot & l think we're fairly typical.

Giving any outsider access to our emails systems would also be a breach of the UK is Data Protection Act. Have u all signed a copy of that Act ? Been trained in it ? No? l thought not. In which case l doubt any UK (or EU for that matter) company would be legally allowed to use u guys.

Charging someone to find them work is l am also illegal in the UK, l know they 'promise' to refund u the money, but still... 'they charge it because if someone drops out they have to find cover in a hurry & that costs' . yet they have a queue of people waiting for work.. seem odd ?

Very iffy office address on the website (solictors office).. No phone numbers.
No VAT number.. no registered company number..what company is going to use a service like that ?

l am going to stick my neck out & say that l think it is legit. l must have sent Claire 6-7 emails after l signed up & always got a polite response. Remember this is after they have got my money, l do not see the profit there. l see 1 or 2 people have sent rather hostile emails & yet been responded to. If l was running a scam & already had ur money l would not bother replying I,d just trash them. Also, l think people r deluding hemselves if they think it,s going to be for some regular company. It is going to be for companies on the 'dark' side of the web. l am supposed to be starting on a gambling site but l think it is likely the work is going to be for porn sites where its going to be much harder to filter junk from explicit customer inquiries about products etc. Also l found that the site was receiving visitors in Dec 2007(you can find visitor stats if u look hard enough) It seems very unlikely that we r the first people to sign up yet l can not find any 'this is definitly a scam l did not get work' type of thing & l looked at loads of scam forums. Also, l think the work is going to be harder than it looks. If u try physically sending each email either back to the inbox or to junk on an unfamiliar account it is harder & takes a lot longer than u think!
So, l remain hopeful, until Im proved otherwise.
