Just has a accident, l have to get my car fixed. I am wondering what will happen if Geico is estimate repair price is not enough. What should l do? My collision is $500 deductable. My car was damaged seriously on the front part include engine room. l believe it cost at least $1000 to fix that.

The asesser will look at the damage and then the curent list book price of the car (NOT THE RETAIL PRICE). The insurance company then have the right to repair or write off the car it is their descion.
Some insurance companies will sell you back the car if it is a write after payment as a catagory 3 write off. This will be recorded on the cars papers.

Well, Geico should be paying you, the LESSER of the cost to repair, OR, the actual cash value of the car, MINUS $500 (your deductible).

What to do, depends on if Geico is YOUR insurance company, or the other guy is insurance company.

Bottom line - wait to hear what Geico says, and if you still have a question, either ask your own agent, or repost, being sure to mention if GEICO is your insurance or the other guy's.
