Im wanting to get a job as im 16 and need to get a car but l have some weed in my system..l have a few people that say you cant drug test minors...Can anyone verify?

An employer can make drug testing a condition of employment for any one. If you are old enough to work - you are old enough to get a drug test.

If your getting a job at a place that requires drug testing than it does not matter how old you are. If you really need a job than try not doing drugs and wait till it passes your system (about 3 weeks) and then go apply for a job. However, at 16 your probably going to be looking at getting a fast food job and very few of those places do drug testing.

If the employer is ''drug free''-they will tell you before you apply, that drug testing is required. If you are old enough to work legally, you have to meet the requirements of the employer.

yes employers require a drug test, even of a minor, if that is the condition for employment. You have a choice, do not work for an employer who might drug test or stop smoking dope!
